Gymnastics Seminars with Coach Jane

Gymnastics Seminars with Coach Jane are back! We are changing the format of the seminars.  Instead of having a beginner and intermediate classes we will be running a 2 week skill specific seminar.  In the 2 weeks we will focus on only one skill (ie. bar muscle-up, ring muscle-up, etc). We will break down each movement, do drills and go over scaling options.  Here are the details:

 

Ring Muscle-up Seminar

This seminar focuses on the ring muscle-up.  During the two weeks we will focus on specific drills to help you either get your first ring muscle-up or become more efficient in the movement.  We will cover the scales as well as strength exercises that you can do during class or on your own time to help you further develop the skill.

Pre-requisites:

  • 5+ Strict Pull-ups

  • 5+ Strict Dips

  • 10 Kipping Pull-ups

  • 10 Kipping Dips

  • 10 Second L-sit Hold

Dates: Saturday, November 17th  and November 24th from 12-1:30

Cost: $50 for members, $60 for non-members

 

Butterfly Pull-up Seminar

This seminar will focus on the butterfly pull-up.  During the two weeks we will break down the butterfly kip and teach you how to be more efficient in your pulling movements.  

Pre-requisites:

  • 3-5 Strict Pull-ups

  • 10+ Kipping Pull-ups

  • 20 sec Hollow hold

Dates: Saturday, December 1st  and December 8th from 12-1:30

Cost: $50 for members, $60 for non-members

 

Handstand Seminar

This seminar is all about being upside down.  We will cover handstand holds/balances, handstand push-ups and handstand walking.  

Pre-requisites:

  • 10+ Push-ups

  • 20sec Hollow Hold

Dates: Saturday, December 15th  and December 22nd from 12-1:30

Cost: $50 for members, $60 for non-members
